The Most Asked for *SKINNY* Caesar Salad
This is truly the only caesar vinegrette recipe you'll ever need, and believe me when I say that most of our guests have said they prefer this over the real-creamy-deal (even my caesar OBSESSED father).
Serves 4 side salads *double recipe for a crowd! Ingredients: - 1 medium head of romain lettuce - 1 large lemon - 2 small cloves garlic - 1 tsp fish sauce (this is a must!!!) - 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/3 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese - 1.5 cups croutons - 1 tsp dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Step 1
Wash, spin, and chop lettuce into a large salad bowl.
Step 2
Whisk together squeezed lemon juice, crushed garlic, fish sauce, olive oil, salt & pepper, and dijon mustard into a small bowl.
Step 3
Drizzle dressing over the lettuce and toss. Add croutons and parmesan just before serving , lightly toss and enjoy!!!
